It is time once again for Sunday Photo Fiction

Sunday Photo Fiction: May 11th 2014

59 05 May 11th 2014The Sinclair family of Kensington had hired a new groundskeeper. After instructing the man to clean out the garden shed and arrange things to his liking, Lady Sinclair left to attend to her guests for afternoon tea.

Several weeks later she asked him to bring out her statue of venus di milo and place it on its pedestal in the rose garden. “You must ask the gardener for help” she said “it’s made from marble, thus quite heavy.”

“What does it look like mam?” he asks

“It is tall. A woman, you can’t miss it , it is the only one in storage.”

“Oh..that one” he hesitates for a moment “I sent it off to the salvage yard”

“Oh my God!!” screams the lady, quite enraged “Why on earth did you do that?”

“It was broken” he replied “missing both her arms, she was..”
