F.S.F. “Wild”

23 Sep

cast_iron_tubDuane and Rosie climb into the old cast iron tub and cover themselves with a heavy blanket to protect from flying debris, a tornado is bearing down on them and there is not enough time to make it to the storm shelter.

The wild wind howls deafeningly as the twister sucks the tub into the air , rocking it like a tiny boat on stormy seas.

After what feels like only seconds later they feel themselves being set down gently with barely a thump, then total silence.

Duane hesitantly pokes his head out from under the covers, coming face to face with three very surprised Tibetan monks.

“Honey” he whispers “I don’t think we are in Kansas any more”.

    Haha! I love it!
Nice take on the ‘wild’ prompt. I was very curious how an old rusty tub would relate – in any way – to the prompt.
    Excellent job. I loved it.

    Keep on writing
