It was Tommy’s turn for show-and-tell.

He turned and slowly uncovered the photograph. “These” he said with much flourish “are my Grandfathers swords. They were given to him as a gift by his teacher,  Master Po. He said my grandfather was the greatest student he had ever taught.

It took Grandpa many years of study to become a blade master and now people come from miles around  just to watch him perform.”

A hand goes up in the back of the classroom. “ Is your Grandfather a Samauri warrior?” the classmate asks excitedly.

Of course not!” Tommy replies angrily “ he is a world-famous teppanyaki chef”.

I imagine a finishing drum roll and the clash of the high hat cymbals at the end of this – excellent ending!

Great ending! It would be neat to see Grandpa and his sword skills as he prepared a delicious dish.
